Message from the Executive Director
At Laurel, our mission is to ensure quality legal representation and education to eligible individuals and be a recognized community partner as a resource for justice.
The work conducted by Laurel attorneys and pro bono volunteers is an integral part of this nation’s justice system. Though our Constitution promises equality in justice, we know that true equality depends on access. Often, for our most vulnerable clients, the gap between promised equality and the reality of access to the justice system seems intractable.
We believe that equal access to justice for families and individuals who have nowhere else to turn is critical and that everyone should have access to the legal services and legal remedies – regardless of their ability to pay.
If you share our vision, we ask that you consider making a commitment to support our annual campaign. In the past, your generosity has allowed us to help disadvantaged children and their families, seniors, veterans and victims of abuse residing in our region.
Please explore our webpage- we have updated it to include many legal resources, as well as information about our program. If you have any questions or need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
